My semester at The Mouse’s house was coming to an end. We had the option of extending our stay. I am (was) a very do-what-supposed-to-do type of person. Me skipping a semester of studies for a semester of fun was already out of line in my world. I just had to get back to school and finish my degree. I came up with a potential plan - finish my degree and do a professional internship once I graduate, move up on the ladder and become an executive for The Happiest Place on Earth.

That didn’t happen.

I completed a full school year “studying” something I barely learned. During the spring semester I found out that previous College Program participants could do a summer internship. I probably signed up the morning it came open. Soon after, I was accepted and ready to go when the semester was over.

This time was different. I was different. I had a much different experience - better I think. I made friends with all of my roommates, I took more trips, and I did new things in The Parks. The work was about the same, except I had more exposure to the sun, I was nicer to and more interactive with people. But the guests were much more entertaining while outdoors.

It was during this internship that I was able to plan how I would take future trips to The Mouse’s house if any children would be involved (they cannot be under age six unless someone else will chaperone them). Anytime that I make a trip to The Wonderful World I make the trip for me. I can’t have needy children slowing me down.

Sounds terrible, I know.
